If you are thinking of Straight Talk, avoid the negative reviews and do the research for yourself. I did and I couldn't be happier with the service. Their $45 unlimited use plan is helping me save more than $50 a month and no overage fees - take that AT&T. The ST Verizon network is solid and has wide-reaching abilities so even in Miami, I have yet to drop a call. No contracts, a great selection of affordable phones, and it can't get any easier than Walmart for the pick up. People will complain that the internet isn't fast enough or that the customer service sucks, I haven't had any problems. I freely recommend Straight Talk to everyone!

I've had really good lucky with Straight Talk and I'm so glad that I made the change. With my previous carrier, I was tired of overage fees and dealing with my contract that just never seemed able to be broken or changed. With a prepaid company, particularly Straight Talk, I pay much more affordable price and pay month to month only. The $45 unlimited use plan works wonderfully for me and anymore who relies on their cell phone for everything - no overage fees. I was able to transfer my cell phone number from my previous carrier and I now have the benefits of the Verizon network without a contract. Even the selection of phones is much better than I would have expected from such a new, prepaid service. I really never considered that Walmart would have such a great bargain for cell phones, but it has worked out well. The only thing I will tell you that you cannot transfer over your contacts from SIM to SIM, but give Straight Talk - you'll prob be able to do that soon.

Hey there, great really informative review of the great services and handsets straight talk has on offer. I recently got a Samsung Finesse from Walmart on the unlimited plan and i have been having a look around the net to see what people are saying about this unbelievable deal... I can't believe what great value the unlimited deal is and, while the Finesse is quite an investment, if you consider that you are saving at least $55 a month on what you would pay on contract, this initial cost for the Finesse is negligible. Plus, its an awesome little handset with a amazingly sensitive touch screen and user friendly interface. And to add to all of this, I get better service on ST than i used to get on At&t!

I couldn't have found a better phone paired with a better service. The Samsung R451C and Straight Talk by Verizon are a perfect match. The phone is extremely modern, with great features like bluetooth, camera, and full QWERTY keyboard. The Verizon network is great, reception and call quality are top notch. Having used the service now for a few months I wonder how I didn't sign up earlier.
