Wow it's so great to save money with Tracefone. Noboddy know that I use one but the service is great and never a dropped call. Doubleing minutes are cool as well too!

It depends on where you are as to the network they use. In most of the US Net10 uses the AT&T network. Only where At&T is not available will you get a CDMA phone that runs on the Verizon network.

For the record, Net10 is a part of TracFone. TracFone is the parent company. Net10 though, is definitely their low cost brand within the company. The minutes are cheap ($.10 a minute across the board) and they have some good phones. Also, it is my understanding that they work off the Verizon network and piggy backs off the network.

From my understanding, Net10 is a subsidiary of TracFone. TracFone offers a bunch of different options for prepaid wireless, with Net10 and StraightTalk being the most popular. With Net10, there is a flat rate of $.10 a minute and you buy minutes when you need them. It is extremely affordable and definitely one of the better plans out there when it comes to prepaid.

First off, prepaid is definitely the way to go, if you get the right plan it can save you a lot of money per month and per year. Net10 is good for those who probably use 200 or less minutes a month, while tracfone porbably for those in the 450 to 200 minute a month range.
